About the Character:
Man, playing age 18-23
Kai is a playful and thoughtful character. He is normally quite reserved but relatively a chill guy, and quite flirty and confident with Selene who he likes quite a bit. He also shares her interest in photography. However, he is a troubled individual with a traumatic and dark past often using art as outlet. You may often find him alone drawing in his sketchbook.
He is a suspected reincarnation of a serial killer so naturally in certain scenes of the film he comes across as creepy - especially during his psychotic break in the forest where he almost seems possessed.
Main emotions portrayed: Happiness, playful, sadness, pain, manic
For an actor: A fantastic and fun role for range as the character goes from being friendly and having a chill confidence to frantic/manic and then to vulnerable.
Location and Date:
Canterbury, UK
Filming to take place from Mid-February (less than a week’s filming time)
Audition deadline is Jan 16th
