About the Character:
Woman, playing age 18-23
Jamila is Selene's best friend. She is a very loveable character with a bubbly personality. She tends to be up for anything and like Selene has her own eccentric style and is prone to laughter, often sharing jokes and having fun with her friend. She is a very spiritual girl and believes wholeheartedly in this side of life.
Surprisingly, when the supernatural nature of the situation is revealed at first she finds herself unsure of it.
Main emotions portrayed: Happiness, playful, fear/terror, disbelief
For an actor: I think this is a lovely expressive role and this character is in more of the fun and lighthearted scenes in the film yet still allows for showing some range when being terrified in a seance scene.
Location and Date:
Canterbury, UK
Filming to take place from Mid-February (less than a week’s filming time)
