About the Project / Job:
I’m directing a LGBTQ+ student short film ‘I’m Sorry, Simon’
This narrative follows Simon during a turning point in his life, as Simon gets caught cheating on his girlfriend at a house party. this leads Simon to an internal struggle, while also trying to hide the truth from everyone around him. When Simon gets confronted by his girlfriend Becka, he must come to admit to himself what he’s been hiding.
Simons & Alex scenes both require intimacy, previous experience for the role is helpful but we will have an intimacy Coordinator on set.
Simon also requires working with water for scenes.

About the Character:
Charismatic and athletic, Alex is popular
and close friends with Simon. However, beyond the surface lies his sexual
confusion, which he denies even to himself.
(This role requires intimacy).
