"Borrowed Time" is a student short film being made by an experienced crew of Final Year Film and Television students. It explores the concept of relationships and their impacts on one individual across various epochs. The story travels back from 2023 to various years throughout the decade of the 1990's.
Synopsis:
After a sudden breakup with her long-term partner, Laura comes to her mother Francesca seeking advice. The protagonist Francesca looks back upon her tumultuous past partners to try figure out the best advice she can give her daughter, and in doing so, realizes a lot more about herself and the impact that people in life can have on your self-image.
We are seeking dedicated and passionate actors to bring the character of Francesca and her friends to life in multiple iterations throughout their personal history. This unique opportunity allows actors to showcase their versatility in a compelling narrative.
Requirements:
Commitment to the project's schedule, including rehearsals and filming.
Ability to adapt to different cultural contexts.
Borrowed Time will be submitted to international film festivals following completion.
