Job: Egham. Seeking Actor for 'Lance' Role in 'Bad Dharma' Film!
About the Project /Job:
Project Title: 'Bad Dharma'
This primary role anchors the short film we’re producing for our final year thesis: Bad Dharma, a darkly comedic tale of student’s relationships with greed, morality and ego. Think Fargo, but set firmly within a university campus.
Log-line: Upon ascertaining his thesis idea has been stolen by the attractive yet elusive female classmate, a disgruntled Mick plots his crude revenge by way of hiring a ‘professional’ freelancer off of Telegram.
Role: Lance (20)
- a reluctant ‘freelancer for hire’ hired to materialise a grim revenge plan for MICK, against his better morals.|
What would we need for Lance (the freelancer):
- 18-25 years of age, or anything that passes as a college student.
- He has an empty look about him, like he’s living in dissatisfaction with himself.
- Gotta be taller than Mick
- Lean, sleek.
- Facial expressivity, and comedic timing…
- Involves a “headlock” scene, as you might imagine, fully controlled.

Job Rate:
TBD - Night shoots are involved. We’re set in Egham, which is one 40 min train ride away from Waterloo. We’re willing to cover the costs of transport, food and accommodation if need be.
