About the Project /Job:
Synopsis: Prominent theater actor Derek Vanguard chooses AJ to be the only participant in a private acting workshop at a university. Devastated by the rejection, Eli, AJ's roommate, secretly picks up tips from Derek by watching AJ's sessions. Derek finds out about Eli's covert endeavors, which sets for a dramatic confrontation. Derek begs Eli not to try out for an audition because he fears that Eli's talent might overshadow his student: "AJ" which could destroy his image. Eli also finds that AJ was chosen by Derek because he was paid off by AJ's parents. Eli has to decide whether to honor the wishes of a mentor who never picked him or follow his dream at the possible expense of Derek's career.
