About the Project / Job:
We are looking for supporting artists to help with our short film “IVY”.
“IVY” revolves around teenage twins, Ivy and Violet. After a seizure at their dance recital, their family find out that one sister has an incurable genetic disorder. We follow the family as they navigate life with this progressive illness - childhood dementia. This is a film to show the impact of what this little known disease can take from families, but also the essential hope, joy and resilience that they find.
We are shooting this with the support of Alz heimer Scotland to raise awareness for childhood dementia. Food will be provided. Please come help us support this cause and raise awareness.
Character:
Role: Audience members, attendees to a dance recital, open to everyone: all ages, genders, etc. (no experience required)
