Have you ever mindlessly scrolled for hours on dating apps just to be greeted with four pixelated pictures of men holding fish and three with pathetically tensed six packs? Hours searching just to hear the same prompt "my special talent is.. getting back my hoodie after you've 'borrowed it". Five minutes on the same profile because you can't figure out which bloody one it is in the multiple friendship group photos (top tip- it's almost never the fit one). Welcome to the world of Kitty. Twenty years old. Total chaos. Lighting candles with a lit cigarette. Holes in her fishnets that she plays off as purposeful. Cycles-everywhere. Almost always late. Date every night of the week. Sometimes two a day. Drinks too much. Smokes too much. Has a lot of sex. Takes all the drugs she's offered. She's silly. She's fierce. She befriends everyone- from the local junkie to the rowdy group of chavs on Westfield Lane. She's like a little bit of sparkle wherever she goes. Or a loose cannon. Depending on how you see it. Playing Age 20 (Actor must be a minimum age of 18), Male, Any Race or Ethnicity, preferably a Northern English Accent or can execute to a high caliber.
Kitty's best friend. Cheeky chappy Tomas, met Kitty when she stumbled into The Jazz and Cow (the bar where he works) one evening at the start of university. They quickly became firm friends, bonding over similar familial situations. Ever since, Kitty brings all her conquests (first dates) to the bar, mainly for free drinks but also as an excuse to see Tomas. Like Kitty, he is 20. Tomas is kind, gorgeous, and charming. He is extremely popular with the ladies, arguably 'boyfriend material'- yet we never see him settle and he enjoys playing the field. He is also protective, hard-working, and strong minded. It is hinted Tomas holds an unrequited love for Kitty, yet we never see this develop.
