After inheriting a takeaway from her father, Liu has worked there for so long she has almost become a part of it. Her entire existence has seemingly been reduced to making it through the next tax-year unscathed. She’s seen it all and has almost had enough. As if trying to run a business on a dying high street wasn’t enough, now she has an injured, would-be robber “playing the victim” in her takeaway.
