Synopsis:
Jessie and Ranaya have been ‘friends’ since primary school, they’ve always been there for each other and feel drawn and safe to one another. However, as confusing feelings of jealousy and angst arise through growing up together, they unknowingly both start to develop deeper feelings for each other.
Ranayas parents divorce means she has to move to Oman to live with her Dad. As Jessie drives Ranaya to the airport the morning after their messy last night out, we witness fragments of their relationship and core memories in flashbacks. Shown in short montage sequences inserted over the awkward, tense atmosphere between the two girls, they begin to pick up the pieces of the other night and open up their repressed emotions for each other.

About the Character:
Is introverted, sporty, analytical and laid back - a Taurus. She comes from working-class, distracted immigrant parents but enjoys her routine and own space. Jessie feels most proud and happy making Ranaya feel safe and seen. She would wish for a clear sign that Ranaya feels the same about her and that her fantasy of them could be real and they could make each other happy.
