- Ritchie is a restless, cynical man, caught between anger and vulnerability. His past with Nicola weighs heavily on him, and he’s come to the meeting seeking some form of closure. Though initially sceptical and dismissive, he becomes increasingly vocal about his frustrations, especially with the other attendees. He resents the emotional walls Nicola has built between them and is clearly still in love with her, wanting answers he doesn’t seem to get. As the sirens draw closer, Ritchie spirals, confronting both the group and Nicola about their shared past and his own regrets. His sharp words mask a deeper fear and vulnerability, especially as the end of the world nears, forcing him to reckon with his feelings before time runs out.
