If a church could tell stories, what would it say? What sites has it seen, what tales have been told? This Autumn Troubadour Stageworks pulls back the curtain to reveal the folklore, history, music, and magic brimming within the Parish Church. Tying together old and new stories, and customizing the show for the venues visited, 'In The Stones' comes to rural communities and incorporates and revitalizes the stories and places sometimes forgotten.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an emerging rep company in the preview/development phase of a show that will likely run for seasons to come. It is a small cast and the part will be developed with you in mind, so there's a real chance to make an impact. While in Cornwall we will also be delivering a variety of workshops to schools in some of the most deprived parts of the country.
About the participants:
Troubadour Stageworks is looking for a male-identifying actor-musician for their upcoming tour of Cornwall
Must be confident playing either guitar, piano, or equivalent accompanist instruments. Competence on other instruments is a bonus.
VOICE: Baritone - Bass ideally (will consider low tenors)

Date:
Dates: Cornwall 15-21 November, possible one-off dates before and after. Chance for renewal and continual paid work into Summer 2022.
Rehearsals: ASAP, based in London. Will fit around other work (likely evenings/weekends).
Job Rate:
Pay: week in Cornwall, and another one-off performance at Equity Rates. Rehearsals are currently unpaid, but should funding applications be successful that will change.
