Job: Yorkshire. Looking for an Actor to Play ‘Mack’ in the Film ‘Debris’
About the Project /Job:
Casting Call:
Debris is a new play looking at the relationship between alcoholic parents and their children. Mack's life revolves around his drinking and looking at the world through a half-empty glass. When his daughter Emma unexpectedly visits him, they find their memories of the past are vastly different.
We are looking to perform initially in Cheltenham, workshopping for a week in April with a view to official rehearsals in May over 10 days. This will either be two blocks of 5 days or evenings, it’s to be negotiated depending on actor availability etc - we are happy to work around you.

Playing age: 45 - 55.
About the Character: Unemployed struggling alcoholic who loves his daughter but puts himself first.

Yorkshire, UK
Date: We would then be performing professionally from June 2024, with an option to tour.
Job Rate:
Unpaid - Please note that this can be considered a profit share role - our project is independent with limited but accessible funding for payments, but it would be an eligible role to put on Spotlight. Expenses can of course be paid for travel too.
At this stage, we are opening the floor to professionals and those just starting out.
