Synopsis: Sin Eating, a religious practice in place to help the dead repent for their sins by eating a meal off the deceaseds chest, exists in the present'. We follow a non-believer in a world full of believers, through becoming a Sin Eater for easy money. He soon learns the presence of a higher power.
- A “Sin-Eater” is a job originating in the 1700s, where their work would be to eat a meal off of a deceased’s chest, in order to allow for them to repent for their season post-mortem. In this film, however, we follow a Sin-Eater in the modern day world.
