Job: Bristol. Seeking: 25-Year-Old Female Actor for Role of Will in R&D Workshop for 'No Man's Land'
About the Project /Job:
We are looking for actors of all genders and backgrounds to help us workshop and develop our script "No Man's Land”. The workshop will include character development, improv and working on the opening scene. We will be making an application to enter an excerpt from the piece into a scratch night in Bristol in the coming months. This means we will be filming part of the workshop for the application, and this footage will be made accessible to you.

Will is thrown off guard when she turns up for her interview expecting a 60-year-old man but is instead met by a 30-year-old woman dressed as a 60-year-old man
Leaving utterly humiliated, Will vows to see Eliza suffer the same and enacts a path of petty revenge. "No Man's Land" explores hidden truths and self-realization. Gender roles, internalized misogyny, status play and a dash of the supernatural.We hope to allow people to embrace their whole selves, while challenging and poking at the status quo- what the heck is that anyway?

About the Character:
A 25-year-old woman. Quirky, audacious, sarcastic. Feminine presenting, attractive. Will has turned up for an interview with Frank Powel to finalize their previous agreements to a partnership role with the company. Will's mother has told her the only way to secure the job is to seduce Frank. She is lonely, and secretly hopes that one day her teasing and jokes will allow her to be seen as more than just a pretty face.

The workshop will take place on 21/10/24 from 2-5pm @ Nova Scotia Bristol
Job Rate:
Unpaid but will buy everyone a round of drinks as a thank you.
