In the 19th century, physician Ephraim McDowell takes on a medical mystery when Jane, suffering from an unknown illness, seeks his help. Despite skepticism and societal norms, McDowell undertakes a risky surgery, shaping the future of medicine.

About the Character:
Jane is a courageous and resilient woman. Faced with a hopeless situation, she refuses to give up and decides to embark on a 60-mile journey on horseback to undergo the surgery that could save her life. Despite the considerable risks and challenges along the way, she remains steadfast in her determination to undergo the life-saving surgery.
Location & Date:
Auditions will be held on the Northumbria University campus on the 22nd of February (specific details will be provided to interested candidates via email).
Rehearsals are scheduled for the 29th of February, with filming planned for March. We are planning to film for 5 days.
Job Rate:
Unpaid role but committed to covering travel expenses and providing meals during filming days and rehearsals.
