A bereaved & solitary man with a recent cancer diagnosis is struggling to face the acceptance of his lonesome final chapter; when he meets an interesting young man not so different from himself, at a grief support group - who is in desperate need of a friend.

About the Character:
Age: 50+
No Prior Experience Required.
Charlie is a solitary and caring figure with a sharp yet rusted mind, who is searching for a reason to keep living during the final stages of his life. His wife, Anne, died one year ago, and the only thing he misses more than her - is how things still felt real when she was around. His doctor has advised that he attend a grief support group to improve his mental health, and he reluctantly goes three times a week. He is aware of his health and often irritated at his lack of physical ability, which doesn't help in trying to stay positive. However, upon meeting Sol, he is given a new found perspective of life - and is determined to continue living for him.
