Project Title: 'Fuente Ovejuna'
- This play takes its name from a Spanish Village which rebels against its military tyrant. It is a tragicomic masterpiece by one of the greatest writers of the Spanish Golden Age.
A true story of a rebellion led by a woman in Medieval Spain.
The Play has become a symbol of worldwide struggles against oppression, leading to one of the most memorable acts of resistance in world drama.
